Attended a private college in North Carolina, majoring in theatre, voice, and dance, before moving to NYC to pursue her career in acting. Jasika Nicole starred opposite Bronson Pinchot in the title role of the world premiere of the musical "Chasing Nicolette," and has appeared in several stage productions in New York City, most notably the off-Broadway 60's musical" Café A Go Go" and Jasika Nicole on "Fringe" "Believe In Me…A Bigfoot Musical" at the 2004 NYC Fringe Festival.  

Jasika Nicole made her feature film debut in the ballroom dancing movie "Take the Lead" with Antonio Banderas, and soon after she landed roles in "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" and the indie film comedy "Get Faamous." Jasika Nicole was also cast as the villain in the highly praised NBC sitcom pilot "Mastersons of Manhattan" starring Molly Shannon, and she most recently completed filming Dreamworks' "She's Out of My League."
