                              Plot summary

A planet of peace! The artisan colony of the planet Kiros created a society without weapons. Instead of war, they pursue art and beauty. But in the Clone Wars, even peace-loving worlds are seemingly forced to change sides....

Trivia: The episode is part of the television series' adaptation of the Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Slaves of the Republic comic arc.

  • When the Republic fleet enters orbit over the planet, it is composed of a Venator-class Star Destroyer containing Anakin and Obi-Wan, two smaller Arquitens-class light cruisers and a Consular-class cruiser (Charger c70 retrofit). However, the vessel that enters the planetary atmosphere is an Acclamator-class assault ship.
  • This story arc adapts Henry Gilroy's 2008 6 part Clone Wars comic book story 'Slaves of the Republic' originally published by Dark Horse. 'Kidnapped' is mostly based on Star Wars The Clone Wars no. 1 (cover dated September 2008), with the octopus like Blixus creature being taken from no. 2 (October 2008).
