Anakin confronts his captors, led by Queen Miraj Scintell, and makes them realize that they are slaves to the Separatists and Count Dooku.

Meanwhile, the Queen takes this to heart but unfortunately it's too late. It's up to Anakin, Obi-Wan, and Ahsoka to free the slaves and themselves.

                        Plot summary

A people enslaved! To locate the abducted colonists of a peace-loving world, the Jedi infiltrated the slaver planet of Zygerria, only to be captured by its ambitious queen,who plots to rebuild her empire of oppression. Now, even Obi-Wan Kenobi must come to terms with a life in chains....


Trivia: During Obi-Wan's time toiling in the slave mines, several screams and cries from Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom can be heard.

  • This story arc adapts Henry Gilroy's 2008 6 part Clone Wars comic book story 'Slaves of the Republic' originally published by Dark Horse. 'Escape from Kadavo' uses elements from Star Wars The Clone Wars no.5 (cover dated April 2009) and 6 (May 2009).

Goof: When Atai betrays the queen, she smashes her wine glass on the floor. There is the distinct sound of the glass shattering, but when she is on the ground after being choked, the glass is seen just behind her, still intact.
