Buffy's final words to Dawn...

"Dawn, listen to me. Listen. I love you. I will always love you. But this is the work that I have to do. Tell Giles... tell Giles I figured it out. And, and I'm okay. And give my love to my friends. You have to take care of them now. You have to take care of each other. You have to be strong. Dawn, the hardest thing in this world... is to live in it. Be brave. Live. For me."

Goofs: At 24:07, as the camera pulls back from Dawn, along the top edge of the screen you can see over the TransLight backdrop that is providing the cityscape behind her, into the studio beyond.

  • In the last episode of Season 5 we see Spike thrown off the tower by Doc. Spike somehow manages to change from black trousers and boots into blue jeans and white shoes mid-air. He's back in black by the time he hits the ground.
  • When Willow does her spell to save Tara, you can see the black pad Tara falls/ stands on.

Trivia: Willow again took on a leadership role when Buffy was unable to do so.

  • Thinking that this would be the series finale, creator Joss Whedon did the scene in the alley at the beginning for old times sake.
