Susan tries to get Edie's confession to burning down her house on tape. Edie catches on and chases Susan, but falls and is attacked by a swarm of yellowjackets. Danielle rescues Matthew and they run away together.

Bree admits herself to a mental health facility for psychiatric observation. Lynette follows Tom to Atlantic City and sees him with another woman. When Tom returns to Fairview, he finds that Lynette has taken the kids and left.

Gabrielle worries that Carlos is putting Xiao-Mei's needs ahead of hers, only a few days into the pregnancy. In a final act of revenge, Felicia frames Paul for her murder, even severing her own fingers, and leaves town.

  • Incogruously Gabrielle is seen reading Maxim magazine in bed, a publication aimed at teenage boys. This is an in-joke as actress Eva Longoria has repeatedly appeared in it and was declared their 2014 Woman of the Year.

Goof: When Edie and Susan are in the bar, watch Edie's beer glass. Seen from over her shoulder, it's almost full. She takes a small sip and when the camera cuts to a full-on shot, it's half-empty. Cut back to over Edie's shoulder and the glass is in her hand, almost full again. Cut back to the full-on shot, and the glass is half-empty and sitting on the table, even though Edie never set it down.
