A delirious Eko wrestles with demons from his past, while Locke and some of the other castaways head back to The Pearl -- one of the Dharma Initiatives island stations -- hoping to find a computer that they can use to locate Jack, Kate and Sawyer.

Meanwhile, Jack doesnt know whom to trust when two of The Others seem at odds with one another.

flashback: Mr. Eko

Goof: In a flashback, when Mr. Ecko has his hands tied in the church, at about 29 minutes 10 seconds, he pulls the knife out of the the table twice. The first time he uses the knife to hit the main "bad guy". The second time it is pulled Mr. Ecko uses the knife to strike one of the supporting "bad guys".

Trivia: Final appearance of Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje as Mr. Eko in the series. Akinnuoye-Agbaje never made a guest appearance after his character's death, as most other main characters on the show did.

Title Meaning: The "cost of living" is an economic metric. Eko defends his actions as necessary for his life, and his defense then costs him his life at the monster's hands.
