Daniel is found by some natives. However, his next contact is with an SG team (not SG-1) and some scientists, who then go find SG1 to report their 'find.' Apparently while Daniel lost his memory but is regaining it to some degree, Yu is doing the opposite, as his age and overuse of the sarcophagsus is scrambling his brain cells.
