After Dean tells Sam what their father told him before he died, a distraught Sam sneaks off to Indiana without Dean. While there, Sam runs into Eva, a psychic who confesses to Sam she sought him out to warn him of his impending death. Dean discovers Gordon is after Sam and races to find his brother in time to save him.

Goofs--Sam's injuries are absent during the Impala ride but the cuts and bruises reappear once he is inside Ava's house.

  • Amount of beer in the glass changes between shots when Sam is talking to Ash at the bar.

Trivia--Dean has a code word for when he is in trouble and a gun is being held on him, "Funkytown."

  • In an extended scene, viewable on the DVD but cut from the final episode, just before Sam asks Ash for help finding other psychics, Ash is unsuccessfully hitting on a woman. As she walks away from him, he yells to her back, "Gimme some sugar, baby!" This is a much-loved line from Army of Darkness, in which it is also spoken by a demon-hunting character named Ash.
