music: "Theme from Star Trek" "Where No Man Has Gone Before" by Alexander Courage

Goofs--While Riley is listening to Uhura sing via comm panel during his "exile" in Engineering, shadows move about his plate of food long before the killer appears.

Trivia--In the original draft, the character whose parents had been murdered by Kodos was named "Lt. Robert Daiken". When Bruce Hyde was cast in the role, the staff realized that he played the character Kevin Riley in "Star Trek" (1966) The Naked Time (#1.4) so the character was rewritten as Riley.
