Trivia--The "new" Xena kills less often than then "old" Xena, but still quite often. In this episode she kills Sinteres with the "pressure points" technique, one of Arkel's warriors by slicing his belly with her sword, and another by thrusting her sword in his groin (ouch!). The "new" Xena's body-count after this episode is 31.

[Announcer] "In time of ancient Gods, Warlords and Kings, a land in turmoil cried out for a hero. She was Xena, a mighty princess forged in the heat of battle. The power. The passion. The danger. Her courage will change the world."
