Turk convinces J.D. that he needs to go to Tacoma for Kim's first ultra sound -- which results in an impromptu road trip for the Sacred Heart crew. After commandeering Dr. Kelso's new RV Elliot, Carla, Keith, Ted and the Janitor join the father to be on his journey.

Meanwhile, Dr. Cox and Jordan face some concern when her ultrasound reveals that their unborn child will need to have surgery.

original airdate--February 8,2007   rating--6.90 million

music--"Superman" theme song by Lazlo Bane

  1. "Fanfare for the Common Man" by Emerson, Lake & Palmer
  2. "Guy Love" (Turk's ringtone)
  3. "Hands of Time" by Ron Sexsmith

Fantasies--The RV drives itself, "Knight Rider"-style, under the name of "Jonathan 3000". However, J.D. gets creeped out when the RV asks him to wipe some dust of the dashboard and enjoys it a bit too much.

Goofs: In some scenes, it's obvious a dummy is behind the wheel of the mobile home instead of Ted.

  • When Turk is talking to Jordan, the pacifier in Isabella's mouth appears and reappears several times.
  • When the janitor falls out of the moving van (having just woken up and not realising it was moving), we see him hit the ground and roll a number of times. By the end of the shot, his head is almost touching the roadside fence. However, when the shot changes to get a close-up on his face, he is some distance away from the fence.

Trivia: Turk's ring tone is "Guy Love" from the episode "My Musical."
