Michael loses his short-term memory, which Lucille uses to her advantage. Gob attempts to use the family yacht before Michael sells it. George Michael and Maeby attempt to see an R-rated movie about cousins having an affair. Buster and Lucille 2 take "the next step".

Goofs--While Buster and Lucille Two are on a date on Lucille Two's balcony, Buster sees his mother on her own balcony, presumably across a courtyard or air shaft. Since the Lucilles' apartments have already been shown to be across the hall from each other, this would be physically impossible.  

• When Michael, Gob and Lindsay are in the kitchen talking about throwing a surprise party for their mother, Michael puts down a can of Sprite on the counter in front of his bag. In the next shot, the can is next to the bag and the coat that was over the bag has also moved, without there being time for anyone to move these items.
• When Lindsay first visits George Senior in prison, she is wearing a hat. From some angles only one ringlet of hair is sticking out of the hat, but from other angles there are several pieces sticking out.
• In the opening scene when Lucille is unloading groceries, the paper bag on the table keeps changing from being crumpled to smooth.
                                                                

Bluth Company status: George Sr. has Lucille smuggle gold bars into prison so that he doesn't get strangled in the shower or stabbed... in a manner of speaking.

Milestones: "My Mother, the Car" marks the first introduction of George Michael's new favorite movie, "Les Cousins Dangereux." Yet another one of Buster's many useless skills is revealed as we find out he was a member of an archaeological dig where he found a massive rock. Lucille does her best to make her children love her by guilting them with the line, "I've been a horrible mother."
