Ok, so I thought I was angry at the WB before seeing this last episode, but now that I've seen it, I'm even more pissed than I was before. How could they end such a great show in such a way, and not give us any outlet for knowing what happens? Are we to assume that everyone died and the world is overrun by demons? Overall, a good episode, but the last 1/2 was fantastic! I was very happy that Angel and Conner came to "terms" with one another, and I was surprised at many turns throughout the rest of the episode. Once again, a true representation of the great work that comes from Joss Whedon and his staff of incredible writers, producers and directors. Angel will be sorely missed!

A lot of puzzlement that people are feeling over the finale of Angel and maybe a few tempers raised. I think people were looking for a little more closure and happy endings and are incredulous when that didn't happen. I'm actually quite pleased with the ending because it's hopeful. How can it be hopeful when Wesley dies, Lorne left and the remainder of the cast is last seen running into a melee with all manor of demon folk? It's because it's a cliffhanger. It tells me that this isn't the end for them. They were fighting to the very end which means that this show may also fight on. Until that happens I'll still boycott the WB but till then I'm very satisfied with how it concluded. I'll really miss this show. It's been so long since I've been such a fan of anything that it's hard to see it go.

I felt that this was a good way for Angel to end, to go out fighting. However, this episode has left a number of questions unanswered, nevertheless this is typical Wheadon and hopefully if a movie or TV movies are made they will address the lose ends. Seeing how the episode finished, with a handful of team Angel left, does give me hope that they will be back to ‘fight the good fight’. Throughout this episode I had a sense of impending doom. Wes’ death, for me, was how it should have been and it was right to see Fred at his side at the end, didn’t half pull on the heart strings! It was fantastic to see the Angel-Connor tag team; it shows that Connor has managed to deal with his past and understand what Angel did and why. Lorne playing his final part was sad, but it was nice to hear him sing one last time, I will miss that voice and green face………..TV will never be the same again! So we shall have to wait for a move or TV movie to find out what happens to the remaining characters, Angel, Spike, Gunn and Illyria. Whatever happens at least we know that they went out fighting. It is sad to think that next season will be the first one in a long time that doesn’t have representation from the Wheadon verse, it will be sorely missed. Everyone that has worked on Angel has brought a fantastic show to the fans and they should all be very proud of their work and of the following that the show has had throughout its life. All that is left to say, as Lorne put it so well, “Goodnight Folks”, lets just hope that it isn’t good bye.
