Climactic, many-plot-threads-tying, filled with glorious effects, and still this ends with a jaw-dropping cliffhanger. The big space battle itself, despite stunningly good effects, is unfortunately very difficult to follow. Hinging all the drama on this battle, however, was not the choice of JMS, as it is intercut with the climax of Dr. Franklin's "walkabout" subplot. The two battles there, though, do not thematically mesh all that much, though. It mostly just happens to be very intense. They are both about the end of self-doubt in some ways... but that may be a bit of a reach. Still, a great episode, 9/10, on the way to massive season finale.
