In every generation there is a Chosen One. They alone will stand against the vampires, demons, and the forces of darkness. They are the Slayer.

Imagine the shock when average 16-year old Buffy Summers from Los Angeles is called up as the next Slayer. After moving to smaller Sunnydale, Buffy just wants to start her life over without any interference with the "forces of darkness". This proves to be difficult, however, as Sunnydale sits on top of the "Hellmouth", an area of mystical convergence that attracts all manner of vampires, demons, and strange phenomena.

Buffy must soon learn to balance a normal teenage high school life with her slaying duties with the help of her Watcher, Rupert Giles, good friends Xander Harris and Willow Rosenberg, and a shady, mysterious stranger known as Angel, without compromising her identity.

When you live on top of the Hellmouth, it seems the fun just never ends.
